It is strongly recommended that you reserve your rental 2 weeks before your surgical date to ensure availability. We may not have the correct parts in stock, or any units avaialble should you contact us without 2 weeks notice.

Our clinic—located conveniently in the North-end of Guelph—offers a rental program for the Breg Polar Care Wave cold therapy unit. This unit offers consistent, reliable delivery of cold and compression therapy through an easy-to-apply cold pad, replacing the need for applying and re-applying cold packs throughout the day.

Cold Therapy, or Cryotherapy, is useful for the treatment of many conditions and injuries, from acute ankle sprains to post-surgery recovery and everything in between!

If your surgeon has recommended the use of cold and compression therapy following your surgery, we have a highly-affordable option.

The Breg Polar Care Wave unit is offered for a very affordable rental fee, which is often covered by extended health benefits.

$115+HST for first 7 days rental. This includes your chosen Wrap on Cold Pad for first-time rentals
$50+HST charged on the 8th day after renting, and every 7 days thereafter until the return

There is no referral required to rent the cold therapy unit, however, one might be required for extended health benefits. We are happy to provide a quote for 3rd party insurance companies at your request.

All payments must be made directly to the clinic and reimbursement requested from insurance companies if applicable. Credit Card authorization for $500 is required before the rental is dispensed.

Reserving your unit:

If you have a scheduled surgery or procedure, please get in touch as soon as possible to reserve your unit and order your personal wrap-on cold pack.

For newly sustained traumatic injuries, please contact the clinic immediately so we can arrange your rental and advise of availability. We can often have a rental ready within 2 business days.

Rentals are picked up in the clinic on Dawson Road, or can be delivered locally.
